Today I found out : '241543903' The mysterious no. on the internet.

Now that my exams were canceled, I was aimlessly scrolling through my news feed and found this.

                             

               

well, as expected, I did do a quick web search and guess what I found :/ 

     

      

That's right, a bunch of people with their heads inside a freezer. Turns out this no. '241543903' was trending as a meme during 2009. So I had to dig into this :P.

After 10 minutes of research, I found everything about it. So here you go;

This all started because of this guy called David Horvitz(A New York artist), who on On April 6th, 2009, posted a picture with his head in the freezer titled "241543903" via his Flickr account SanPedroGlueSticks.Days later, on April 10th, the same numeric sequence "241543903" appeared in a Tumblr post which provided the following instruction for readers(Below)

So yeah, to answer the question;  The number "241543903" stems from a combination of the serial number of his refrigerator and the barcodes on a bag of edamame and a package of frozen soba noodles that were stored in the freezer. This was answered by Horvitz in an interview in December 2010.
